TRAK DETAILS
Poon Hill trek is one of the most popular in Annapurna region, because its moderate category makes it accessible and doable for most people.
Over the 5 or 6 days, we move through lush forests, stone-built villages, and the ,ever-shifting light of the Himalayas—culminating in the sunrise vista from Poon Hill (3,210m), where the peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri awaken before our eyes.
But we’re not here to rush or conquer. We walk mindfully, integrating yoga, meditation, and sound healing into each stage of the journey. Every step becomes a prayer. Every inhale, a teacher. Every silence, a doorway.

WHAT TO EXPECT ALONG THE WAY
In addition to the inner journey, the Poon Hill trek awakens your senses to the outer richness of Nepal’s land, culture, and stillness. As you move mindfully through the trail, you’re immersed in a landscape shaped by both time and devotion. You’ll walk along terraced slopes, past lush paddy fields, and on peaceful stone paths that connect ancient villages. The route leads through moss-covered rhododendron forests, which burst into color during the spring bloom (March–April)—a living cathedral of light and texture. Along the way, you pass through warm, welcoming Gurung and Magar villages, where daily life flows in harmony with nature. In Ghandruk, one of the region’s most charming traditional settlements, time seems to slow down. Stone houses, carved wooden windows, and flower-filled courtyards speak quietly of a life rooted in rhythm and reverence. You’ll hear birdsong in the forests, feel the crunch of earth beneath your feet, and sip tea with locals whose stories are shaped by the mountains. Prayer flags flutter in the breeze, and snow-dusted peaks watch over the path like silent guardians. Whether you're watching the sunrise from Poon Hill or sitting in stillness under a starlit sky, this is more than a trek—it's an initiation into the timeless conversation between body, earth, and spirit.
